GLD High School Program Information and Points Standings
General information: The GLD High School Program is a backet racing series open to high school students. The students are taught about the dangers of street racing by local law enforcement officers.
They are taught about the sport of drag racing in a safe and controlled environment. The students compete against each other as well as against law enforcement officers for points. The points totals are kept thruout the season and there is a champion
crowned at the end of the season. At each individual event, the kids can win a pizza party by beating the cops. This is a great way to introduce young people to the sport and is very popular with the students who take part in the program.
