2012 Chassis Cert Info

GLD will have the NHRA chassis inspectors on site on opening weekend, March 31st and April 1st.
To schedule your appointment, call Teri Blasco at 847-494-9977
Note that in addition to the NHRA fees, there will be a $10 fee per person for each chassis certification.

What's new at GLD...

GLD is happy to announce an exciting addition to our 2012 schedule of drag racing events: 9.50 Index and 10.50 Index classes!

GLD will be running 9.50 and 10.50 index races on the following Sundays:

April 29th

June 3rd

July 15th

August 5th

September 9th

October 21st

Many people with 9.50 and 10.50 cars have found themselves with no place to go.

As it sits, Your 9.50 or 10.50 capable car will fit in GLD's 9.50 or 10.50 Index Classes!

We will keep our fans and racers updated with further developments on our new index classes.

Great Lakes Dragaway is one of the oldest dragstrips in the entire United States. Many classic matchups and great times have taken place here.
