The Great Lakes Dragaway Junior Dragster program consists of kids ages 8 thru 17
who compete in a 5hp miniature
dragster. The vehicles are specifically built for this racing class where some utilize a stock engine and some modify them to run faster. It’s a safe sport that offers competition with great fun and excitement. At Great lakes Dragaway we offer you a great facility with superb concessions. Our program is conducted on Saturdays from 8:00 am to about 2:00pm. In this program you will have time runs and two races; one for points and the other for a trophy. If you want to learn more about Junior Drag Racing, come on out to an event. Many families and teams will answer any questions you may have. And if you have a Junior Dragster, but have never driven it, bring it out, our crew will give you all the help you need. With majority of the Junior races scheduled with the regular bracket series event, parking restrictions will be inforced (No one will be able to park in a "PAID" Club Gold spot, regardless of where it is). Please contact Chris Hohensee 414-963-1020 ext. 110 to be assigned a permanent parking spot in the grass (generally the first row down from the red/blue-barn)for the season at no cost. Black-top is available for a nominal fee on a first come first serve basis. Otherwise parking will be only available in open spots.
