With Great Lakes Dragaway's signage program, you are advertising to over 200,000 people in annual attendance who will read your sign, as well as hear the announcer's voice speaking about your business.
Free internet promotion on www.greatlakesdragaway.com is also included with all signage contracts valued at $2500 or more. According to search analytics companies who do their own research, GLD's website is one of the most frequently visited drag strip websites in the Midwest and the east coast.
With over 20 million yearly pageviews, 15,000 unique visitors per month on our website, and upwards of 200,000 people who attend GLD events annually, you are potentially advertising your business for less than one penny per person for the first time they read your signage, and every time they see and hear it again is practically free.

Trackside Billboards
Located along the race track from the starting line up to the 400 foot mark, trackside billboards are visible to all spectators and racers alike. This location also gives extreme internet advertising... virtually all fan-taken pictures and videos that are posted on Facebook or Youtube show these billboards with clear visibility.

Tower Billboard
Show the power of your billboard by mounting it onto the race control tower... these billboards stand out the most and are visible by everyone. Rivaled only as the most powerful advertising spot on the property by the score board signs.

Score Boards
The ultimate advertising spot at Great Lakes Dragaway is on the Score Boards. Aside from being viewed every single time people turn their heads to see how fast a racer went, sponsoring the scoreboard also means you are sponsoring that lane. The announcers routinely say, for example, "and in the Miller Lite lane we have the MOFOCO Funny Car taking the win at 212 miles per hour!!" The scoreboard sponsors are also listed on every single timeslip, and to top it off, a large banner link to your website is listed near the very top of GLD's website home page, which is a $2000 value in itself.

With great power comes great responsibility. All contracts are for THREE contract years, with full $7000 1st year payment plus $500 install fee due before sign will be installed. If you pay The full three year $21,000 price up front, we will waive the $500 install fee.
Guard Wall Billboards
Installed along the outer side of the concrete guard wall barriers, your billboard will be visible to all spectators in the grandstands, as well as racers coming back on the return road.

Installed along the center line between the two racing lanes leading up to the 'Tree, these signboards are in virtually all of the best launch, wheelstanding, and even jet car fire show pictures!

Back of the Grandstands Billboards
High up in the sky, this location is prime real estate that is seen by everyone in the concession area, which is where most spectators go during breaks in the action.

Installed on the fence along the short staging lanes, competitors who drive to get in line to race, as well as spectators walking around checking out the pits, will see these signs.

Installed on the fence near the facility entrace, everyone who enters the grounds is guaranteed to view your billboard.

GLD Website Advertising
For folks who do not wish to purchase a billboard, but would still like to have their business's website advertised on one of the most frequently visited drag strip websites in the midwest and east coast, we offer banner link placement.
450x85 pixel banner on the main page content: $2000 per year
170x170 pixel logo fixed in place on the side bar to the left of GLD website: $1000 per year
170x170 pixel logo put into a random generator image display, which will show up when site visitors load the webpage at random: $500 per year
Payment for internet advertising is due in full before your banner will be placed. By purchasing an online contract, or getting one included for free with a billboard contract, you agree that your banner may be slightly edited (resized, slight color changes to not cause clashing with the GLD website design, etc.) before being posted.
