A violation of this rule may result in not being able to race on that day, subject to the circuit directorıs discretion. When we only have one qualifying pass, if necessary, any car can restart and/or have a twenty (20) minute repair period, timed by the circuit director, starting from the time the circuit director is notified of the problem until the car must be ready to make its qualifying run or be disqualified. Prior to staging, the driver of your car must talk to the driver of the car he/she will be racing against in the next round. This will insure both of you will know what each other is going to do in the water box, on the line, the number and length of burn outs and staging procedures. Avoid any or all unnecessary holes or delays in the show by getting your car ready as soon as possible, getting yourselves paired up as you are coming up to the staging lanes and getting into the staging lanes as soon as possible upon being called. Most times the driver will want to be directed back to his/her identical burn out tracks, but in a lot of cases the team member if failing to assist the driver to do so. So unless the driver tells the team member, make sure the driver gets centered in his/her tracks after the burnout. Starting line procedures-Only 1 person per a car is allowed! No exceptions! You should complete all runs under full power whenever possible. A car idling down the track looks terrible to the spectators, the track management, delays the show and melts the suited up drivers waiting to race. We must give thought to the appearance of the racecar and the crew when on the starting line or in the staging lanes. You do not have to spend a fortune on paint jobs and uniforms, but the vehicles must be clean and the crew must have matching uniform shirts and should have on matching, at least in color, shorts or pants. We have to watch closely our actions and language while on the track and while in the pits. With the number of women and children in the pit area. Cheating-Any member caught illegal will loose all points and money earned that day and will be fined $25.00. If we do not have enough of our member cars to attend a meet, we will buy in other cars from outside the association and they will be able to qualify and advance rounds and earn pay for that day. In the first round, the 9th & 10th non-qualifiers must go back in the staging lanes first for fill ins in order to be paid 9th & 10th non-qualifier monies. No exceptions. If a car should be unable to make 1st round of eliminations the 9th or 10th non-qualifier will fill in where the broke car qualified and they will split first round payout.
