About the Sound Study - Posted February 1st
In short, the sound study issue has been "tabled indefinitely." More details to come shortly!
We would like to remind everyone, that although the sound study issue has been "tabled indefinitely" by the Paris town board, this does NOT mean that GLD "won" or that no ordinance will be created, etc. This simply means, in political speak, that "we don't want to talk about it right now." So, keep on your toes, they could turn around and un-table the issue at any time... stay tuned to the GLD website & mailing list. Have you signed up for our list? Thanks to everyone that has showed up at the town meetings or sent in letters of support! Speaking of which, if you want to send in a support letter for the Paris town board to read, email it to Mike Angeli at mike@greatlakesdragaway.com, and it will be presented to the town board. We have a folder getting full of letters... but that doesn't mean to resign to the thought process of "they don't need me, someone else will help..." EVERYONE'S voice counts! Send in a letter and be heard!
Great Lakes Dragaway will be holding the annual NHRA chassis certification April 17th & April 18th 2010.
